About Us
MXers for Jesus was founded in 1997 by Rev. Kevin Cozadd and his wife, Cassie. At that time, Kevin was an associate pastor at a local church in Alabama. Kevin and Cassie have both served in that church since graduating from Rhema Bible College. They both believed that God had called them to the ministry to share God’s love anywhere God called them.
Kevin and Cassie grew up a mile apart, but they met in high school while Kevin was racing motocross across the U.S. on many weekends throughout the year. Kevin grew up in a racing family where his dad raced cars, so racing and traveling every weekend were just a way of life. After many years of racing with a great desire to race as a full-time professional, Kevin believed the Lord wanted him to be in the ministry, so Kevin stopped racing, focused on college, and he and Cassie got married. They didn't think they would ever be back around the racing industry, but in 1997, Kevin resigned from the church he was serving in, and Kevin and Cassie both started MXers for Jesus. For several years, Kevin worked a job at a local motorcycle dealership and traveled every weekend sharing God's love at the races. Then, after those early years, Kevin and Cassie believed it was God's will for them to focus full-time on MXers for Jesus, so they stepped out in faith with no promise of financial security to a full-time ministry, which is pretty much a life on the road! Just after starting MXers for Jesus, Kevin and Cassie had a son named Austin. And now, Austin is as much a part of the work in MXers for Jesus as they are. It is truly a family ministry!
2017 was a 20-year celebration for the Cozadds, and we believe many more years are to come, with the best ahead.
MXers for Jesus believes that Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation (path to God). Romans 10:9–10 teaches us the pathway.

Romans 10:9–10:
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
MXers for Jesus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian ministry and is faith-based. We receive offerings to fund the work of this ministry. We believe that the Word of God teaches us the laws of sowing and reaping; and supporting ministries with prayers and financial support is the way God has set up for families to partner with ministries and connect with the work of the Lord.
